Pay Range: $43 - $48/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and triage patients presenting with behavioral health concerns in the ED.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for behavioral health patients.
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses safely and accurately.
• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques for acute behavioral situations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including social workers, physicians, and mental health specialists.
• Educate patients and families on coping strategies, treatment plans, and community resources.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in electronic medical records (EMR).
• Adhere to all regulatory, safety, and hospital protocols.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key Skills: BSN, BLS, experience as a Registered Nurse .
• Behavioral Health Nursing / Psychiatric Nursing
• Emergency Department Nursing
• Patient Assessment & Monitoring
• Crisis Intervention & De-escalation Techniques
• Medication Administration & IV Therapy
• Care Coordination & Interdisciplinary Collaboration
• Patient & Family Education
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Documentation
• Strong Communication & Interpersonal Skills
• Critical Thinking & Decision Making
• Active RN license in Georgia
• Experience in behavioral health or psychiatric nursing preferred
• Ability to work flexible shifts as needed.
