Senior Data Engineer

Pay Range: $55 - $58/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities: 

• Proficient extracting, transforming, and loading tools/processes/languages (languages: Python, C#, tools: Prefect, DBT, SSIS) and data solution creation/maintenance.
• Proficient coding in at least one of the programming languages used in analytics, application development, and/or data science.
• Proficient in analysis and problem solving with the ability to determine root cause and then recommend solutions.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Key skills; SQL, Snowflake, Prefect, Github, DBT
• Strong knowledge of SQL
• Proven experience modeling data flows.
• Experience with Data Engineering tools, such as DBT, Prefect (using Python), Five Tran, or similar ETL/ELT platforms.
• Experience with Snowflake
• Experience with GITHUB.
• Excellent listening, verbal, and written communications skills with the ability to translate technical information into understandable terms to a variety of audiences.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and AWS services such as S3, Lambda, API Gateway etc.
• Experience with Terraform.
• Coding experience in at least one of the programming languages (C#, Python, etc.) used in analytics, application development, and/or data science.
• Experience with Power BI reporting tool.
• Experience with Splunk.
