Salary Range: $50,000 - $85,000 annually (dependent upon experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Shift: Midday Shift (11:00 AM – 9:00 PM)
- Schedule: Full-time, Tuesday – Friday
- Format: 4/10-hour shifts
- Perform high-quality x-ray procedures including diagnostic, fluoroscopy, and operating room/C-Arm imaging according to exam protocol in a timely manner .
- Diagnostic Imaging:•
- Prepare patients for procedures, explain the process, position patients for optimal imaging, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the examination .
- Patient Care:•
- Operate stationary and mobile x-ray equipment safely and efficiently, following ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure. Ensure image quality meets radiologist and regulatory standards .
- Technical Expertise:•
- Perform ancillary tasks such as EKGs, phlebotomy, and obtaining vital signs as needed .
- Additional Clinical Tasks:•
- Assist with room setup and ensure patient care areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked .
- Room Preparation:•
- Upload, label, and transmit images accurately to PACS/RIS. Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with facility protocols .
- Documentation:•
- Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and surgical teams to support optimal patient outcomes .
- Team Collaboration:•
- Call Rotation: Participate in rotating call as part of the department schedule .

- Pay Equivalent: Approximately $24 - $41/hour based on 40-hour work wee
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Key skills: Current ARRT-R (Radiography) certification
- Current Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license through Texas Medical Board
- Current BLS certification
- Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology
- High School Diploma or GED required. Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology required .
- Experience: Previous clinical radiology experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply .
- Certification/Licensure:
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
- Current Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license through the Texas Medical Board required
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Current, valid Texas Driver's License required
- Skills: Proficiency in performing radiologic procedures across multiple settings including OR, diagnostic, and mobile imaging.
- Experience with C-Arm imaging in surgical settings preferred .
- Strong technical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, patient care, and teamwork skills .
