Pay Range: $33 - $59/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive post-operative patient assessments following anesthesia
• Monitor and manage airway, vital signs, pain, and level of consciousness
• Identify and respond to post-anesthesia and post-surgical complications
• Administer medications and interventions per clinical protocols
• Coordinate care with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and perioperative teams
• Ensure safe patient recovery, stabilization, and transfer
• Maintain accurate, timely patient documentation
• Adhere to evidence-based practice, patient safety standards, and organizational policies
• Participate in performance improvement, shared governance, and professional development activities

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key Skills:Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Georgia or Compact)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
• Ability to manage post-anesthesia recovery and respond to emergencies
• Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring and patient stabilization
• Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
• Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• Accurate and timely clinical documentation skills
• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Licensure & Certifications (required upon hire):
• Active RN License (Single-State of Georgia or Compact)
• BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross)
• Minimum 1 years of direct patient care RN experience
• Ability to work night shift (for this specific role)
• Ability to deliver individualized care in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Commitment to Hospital care standards, safety policies, and code of conduct
