Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Skills-DOCSIS, Network Testing, LAN/WAN protocols
- Test planning / execution for a product feature / functionality.
- Strong debugging / troubleshooting skills are required.
- In depth knowledge of one or more LAN/WAN protocols such as (Ethernet, MPLS, OSPF, BGP etc).
- Solid foundation in TCP/IP protocol.
- Familiarity with network provisioning and management tools including: DHCP servers, DNS Servers, TFTP Servers, Syslog servers, SNMP Management servers.
- Automation skills and experience using Python.
- Familiarity with network test tools including data traffic generators a plus.
- In depth knowledge of DOCSIS protocols and Cable applications a plus.
- Linux Server Administration experience using tools like vSphere and ESXi to support testing and development environments a plus.
