Engineering Technician

Pay Range: $33 - $34/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities:

•  The ideal candidate will have considerable hands-on expertise with a wide variety of analytical instruments and techniques.
• Special consideration will be given to expertise in polymers testing and chemistry.
• Other areas of expertise may include metallography, mechanical test, XRF, FTIR, SEM, etc.
• As a Lead Technician, the candidate will be expected to provide training/guidance to other Technicians in day-today operations as well as being able to take on limited engineering roles as needed to support the business.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key Skills:("ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN" OR "ANALYTICAL CHEMISTRY" OR "LEAD TECHNICIAN" OR "MECHANICAL TEST" OR "POLYMER TESTING" OR "AEROSPACE MATERIALS" OR "LABORATORY TECHNIQUES/" OR METALLOGRAPHY OR "LABORATATION") .
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in hands-on lab experience in Polymer testing (DSC, TGA, TMA, etc.) or Analytical chemistry (IC, GC/MS, ICP, etc.).
• US Citizen.
• AA or higher degree.
• Experience with aerospace materials & processes.
• Experience in other laboratory techniques/instrumentation such as metallography, FTIR, SEM, etc.
• Experience with laboratory information management systems.
