Immediate need for a talented Senior Software Engineer - Oracle SQL/PLSQL. This is a 12 months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Westlake, TX/Boston, MA/Smithfield, RI /Merrimack, NH (Hybrid). Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Key Skills; Oracle
- Snowflake
- Goldengate
- PLSQL
- SQL
- API Development
- Informatica
- Jenkins
- AWS - Azure (either cloud)
- 10 years of hands-on experience with Oracle SQL and PLSQL, including performance tuning, data modeling, and API development.
- Strong experience with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica) and batch job schedulers (e.g., Autosys).
- Proven ability to design scalable, resilient systems using cloud technologies (AWS, Snowflake, S3 preferred).
- Experience with ATDD, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Java, messaging systems, and web containers.
- Experience with distributed replication technologies (e.g., Oracle GoldenGate, EDB Replication).
- Exposure to other database platforms (Postgres, Snowflake, MS SQL Server, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong Linux shell scripting and performance monitoring skills.
- Experience with Oracle RAC, Exadata, and engineered systems is highly desirable.
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, Oracle OCI) are a bonus
