Pay Range: $50 - $60/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide test and manufacturing support for Ring Laser Gyro (RLG) and Tactical Guidance Products (TGP) production.
• Perform yield and performance data analysis to monitor process capability, product health trends and drive yield improvements.
• Utilize CAMP, Lean, and Six-Sigma methodologies to govern engineering standard work practices.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues, facilitate issue identification and analysis.
• Develop improvements in product design and in the manufacturing and assembly processes for cost and cycle time reductions.
• Assist development of new products.
• Support knowledge for test equipment and preventative maintenance plans to maintain factory capacity and efficient product flow.
• Facilitate a self-driven work force culture to achieve RTY, BIQ, COPQ, and other SQDIC goals.
• Hands on work ethic. Initiative and ownership of responsibilities and actions.
• Test products & software.
• U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS: Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key Skills:Root Cause Corrective Action / Lean / Six Sigma.
• Required Skills; (“Manufacturing Engineer” or “Advanced Manufacturing Engineer” or “Process Engineer”) AND (“Lean Manufacturing” or Lean or “Six Sigma”) AND (Aerospace or Aviation or Avionics.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
• 5+ years’ experience.
• Product or process engineering experience.
• Experience with Optics.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment.
• Ability to balance priorities in daily tasks and strategic projects.
• Ability to partner and collaborate well with team members across functions.
• Quickly and accurately identifying subtle interrelationships and patterns among a variety of problems and issues (process and data correlation of cause/effect across value stream).
• Conveying information with clarity and directness, ensuring the message is understood across diverse teams.
