Key Responsibilities:
- Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | OT available, including weekends
- Set up and run CNC machines (lathes and mills) to produce consistent quality products
- Develop and maintain CNC programs for production orders
- Maintain and update program files
- Inspect products to ensure compliance with CAD prints and ISO 9001 standards
- Complete process inspection sheets and required documentation
- Perform general machine maintenance (oil, coolant, cleanliness)
- Use tools and supplies properly (inserts, drills, coolant, etc.)
- Clean machines and work areas
- Support other departments as needed based on workload
- Participate in safety meetings, quality meetings, and training sessions
- Perform other duties as assigned
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Must Have Skills: Minimum 5+ years of CNC machining experience
- Experience operating CNC lathes and mills
- Machine tool programming experience
- Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings/prints
- Strong understanding of machining theory and practices
- Experience working in Lean manufacturing environments
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Vocational training as a CNC Journeyman Machinist
- Strong math and calculation skills
- Ability to read, proofread, and interpret technical documentation
- Experience with ISO-certified manufacturing environments preferred
- Ability to work 100% onsite in Stafford, TX
