Pay Range: $55 - $58/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- A Cerner RIS (Radiology Information System) and PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) Analyst is responsible for managing and maintaining these critical systems in a healthcare setting.
- System Management: Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of RIS and PACS systems, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
- Data Management: Handle data archiving, storage, and retrieval, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Good understanding of HL7 and preferably FHIR. Prior knowledge of PDF image linking with HL7.
- User Support: Provide support and training to healthcare staff on using RIS and PACS systems effectively.
- Should be able to co-ordinate with Integration analyst to pass on system requirements for RAD and PACS workflow.
- System Integration: Manage the integration of RIS and PACS with other hospital information systems, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
- Thorough understanding of Cerner Radnet Module.
- Basic understanding of Cerner Powerchart and HL7 data flow.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the accuracy and quality of imaging data and reports.
- System Upgrades: Perform regular system upgrades and apply updates to maintain optimal performance.
- Key skills; RIS/PACS, Radnet, Diagnostic Applications
- Technical Skills: Experience in Clinical Cerner tools such as Cerner Radnet, Cerner Powerchart, basic FSI tools.
- Education and Experience: A bachelor's degree in computer science, life sciences, or a related field. Typically, 2-4 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience with RIS and PACS systems, preferably in a healthcare setup.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in data management, and excellent communication abilities.
