Pay Range: $33 - $59/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

• Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care using the full nursing process
• Float across multiple campuses/units to support Med Surg patient care needs
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and implement individualized care plans
• Monitor, evaluate, and document patient conditions accurately and timely
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and optimize patient outcomes
• Support performance improvement initiatives and shared governance activities
• Apply evidence-based practices to enhance quality, safety, and patient satisfaction
• Mentor and precept fellow nurses, fostering professional growth
• Participate in research, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives
• Ensure efficient utilization of resources to support patient flow and reduce readmissions

• Key skills; Strong knowledge and application of the nursing process (assessment through evaluation)
• Minimum 2+ years recent Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) experience
• Excellent critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-acuity environments
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Team collaboration and relationship-building abilities
• Time management and prioritization skills
• Computer proficiency and data entry experience
• Familiarity with EMR systems (Epic preferred)
• Knowledge of evidence-based practice and patient safety initiatives
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
• Active RN License (Single State or Multi-State Compact)
• Current BLS (AHA) certification
• ACLS certification required
• National Specialty Certification (preferred)
• Minimum 2+ years of recent Med Surg experience
• Computer data entry experience required
• Experience with Epic and 3M systems preferred
• Ability to work full-time day shifts in a float team capacity
