Key Responsibilities: -
- Create standalone utilities leveraging Windchill APIs
- Write SQL queries and query specifications for retrieving data from the Windchill database
- Design and develop custom Windchill PLM extensions, including customization of data models, workflows, and integrations.
- Monitor development progress and address technical challenges during implementation.
- Establish quality standards for Windchill development and testing procedures.
- Conduct thorough testing of customizations and integrations to identify and resolve defects.
- Review and approve code changes to maintain code quality and consistency.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior Windchill developers on the team.
- Assign tasks effectively and manage team workload to meet project deadlines.
- Foster collaboration within the development team and with other stakeholders.
- Communicate technical details clearly to business users and project stakeholders.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Key Skills; Windchill, PTC, PDMLINK, ProjectLink
- 7+ years of experience working with the PTC Windchill Platform.
- Deep expertise in Windchill customization, data models, architecture, workflows, and integrations.
- Strong proficiency in Java enterprise development, including Java, JavaScript, and web services.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in collaborative, cross-functional team environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

- Windchill ProjectLink
- Windchill Database Relationship Understanding
- Knowledge of Windchill APIs
- Knowledge of Windchill UI components
- Customization: Wizard, Panel, Attribute Builder, Data Utilities
- Knowledge of Windchill server-side customization
- Windchill Workflow customization
- Windchill Info Engine
- Windchill REST and OData services
- Windchill query and report builders
