Pay Range: $42 - $43.12/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assures the quality of processes and products by performing audits, inspections, tests, defect analysis, trend analysis, programming & troubleshooting inspection equipment, calibration maintenance, and reporting on results of measurement standards.
  • Assures consistent quality of suppliers and production by validating processes; providing documentation from measurement analysis and helping departments understand the interpretation of collected data.
  • Drive internal PPM improvements using iDT&R (Internal Defect Tracking & Resolution)
  • Drive external PPM improvements using CDT&R (Customer Defect Tracking & Resolution)
  • Maintain and update value stream quality systems using standard APQP tools.
  • Lead Quality related Kaizen events for your respective value stream.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing to reduce scrap for your respective value stream.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
  • Skills-Quality Engineering, APQP/Advanced Product Quality Planning, SPC and Aerospace or Automotive.
  • 5 years quality engineering experience within a regulated manufacturing environment. (i.e., Aerospace or Automotive)
  • Experience with APQP core tools. (Experience in both development and maintenance) (APQP = Advanced Product Quality Planning)
  • Experience with SPC (Statistical Process Control) and DoE (Design of Experiments)
  • Experience using Six Sigma tools.
  • ASQ or Six Sigma certifications.
  • A regulated manufacturing environment, i.e., Aerospace or Automotive
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field. (Engineering or Technology)
  • 5 years of quality engineering experience
  • Experience with APQP core tools. (Experience in both development and maintenance)
  • Experience with SPC (Statistical Process Control) and DoE (Design of Experiments).
  • Shift: Shift - 7:30am – 4:15pm / Monday - Friday
