Pay Range: $68 - $71/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and oversee end-to-end implementation of the new GM Gen AI platform and its related business use cases.
• Develop architectural approaches for AI software and hardware integration with emphasis on quality, performance, resiliency, and reusability.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to understand and fulfill business needs objectives.
• Lead cross-disciplinary teams to deliver technical solutions that align with business priorities and expectations.
• Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle.
• Establish standards and lead the charge on automation for end-to-end SDLC efficiency.
• Mentor team members in technical design and development best practices
• Drive platform performance, scalability resiliency testing
• Implement hardware upgrade software enhancement to meet global performance expectations.
• Address regulatory performance driven requirements for regional/localization of infrastructure platform.
• Conduct research prototyping to evaluate and identify new solutions to enhance platform and team capabilities.
• Monitor AI industry trends and stay abreast of advancements in AI, machine learning, and data science to continuously innovate and improve solutions.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Skills-Expert Python development skills with strong knowledge of Threading, Async Programming, Fast API, OO Design.
• Experience with ETL with large data and optimizations for performance.
• Pub/Sub, Message Bus design and implementations. Kafka/AMPS preferred.
• Working in large sized teams that collaboratively develop on a shared multi-repo codebase. (VsCode)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Self-starter. Able to break down complex problems into smaller problems, manage dependencies, and efficiently drive through to a solution.
• Adaptable to shifting & competing priorities.
• Committed and pro-active in ensuring high quality of service.
• Ability to work in a fast-pace environment.
• 7 is the preferred.
