Business Analyst

Pay Range: $29 - $31/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Shift: 7 AM - 5 PM (Mon – Fri) – Any 8 hours between this shift.
• Support the growth and compliance of critical Medi-Cal programs including Transitional Rent, Enhanced Care Management (ECM), Justice-Involved (JI), and Closed Loop Referrals (CLR).
• This role is essential for ensuring timely file validations, accurate reporting, and operational continuity.
• Manage and validate data files for ECM, JI, and Transitional Rent programs.
• Own monthly ECM/CS JSON reporting to DHCS, including CLR integration.
• Provide operational and partner-facing support for ECM referrals and CDCR workflows.
• Respond to internal and external data inquiries, discrepancies, and reporting requests.
• Develop and execute UAT for program implementations and file exchanges.
• Establish contingency workflows when automation is delayed.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Key Skills;  Experience with Data validation, reporting, and file processing (Excel, flat files, JSON) is required.
• Experience with Medi-Cal programs is required.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with IT, program teams, and external partners is required.
• Knowledge of UAT and data validation processes are required.
• Experience with DHCS (Department of Health Care Services) deliverables are preferred.
• Problem solving, Communication and Coordination is required.
