Key Responsibilities:
- Perform the full Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) to deliver individualized, evidence-based care for renal/dialysis patients.
- Coordinate care through effective partnerships with patients, families, and the healthcare team, ensuring patient goals are central to the plan of care.
- Document care delivery and promote a respectful, inclusive clinical environment through interdisciplinary communication and teamwork.
- Uphold all clinical standards, policies, and safety protocols (e.g., TJC Patient Safety Goals).
- Act as a preceptor/mentor and participate in professional development, performance improvement, and shared governance initiatives.
- Proactively plan for patient care across the continuum and support the efficient use of resources.
- Skills-Current RN license (Georgia or Compact State)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (or obtain within specified timeframe)
- Experience in dialysis, critical care, emergency, or a related acute care setting
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and respond decisively to emergencies.
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and technology for clinical care.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ASN) or Nursing Diploma required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Licensure/Certification:RN License (Georgia or Multi-State Compact).
- BLS certification required upon hire.
- ACLS & PALS required within 180 days of hire.
- TNCC required within 18 months of hire.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and respond decisively to emergencies.
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and technology for clinical care.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
