Key Responsibilities
-
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
-
Build, enhance, and support ETL workflows using Informatica (PowerCenter / Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services)
-
Develop and consume REST/SOAP APIs with strong security and performance standards
-
Design data integration solutions between databases, enterprise systems, and third-party applications
-
Work on data pipelines, transformations, mappings, and workflows
-
Ensure data quality, reliability, fault tolerance, and performance optimization
-
Integrate backend services with data warehouses, reporting tools, and cloud platforms
-
Collaborate with frontend, QA, DevOps, data, and business teams
-
Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, deployment, and production support
-
Troubleshoot production issues and provide L3 support when required
Key Requirements
-
9 years of experience in Java backend development
-
Strong hands-on experience with Informatica (PowerCenter / IICS – 3 years preferred)
-
Expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices architecture
-
Solid understanding of ETL concepts, data integration patterns, and API-based integrations
-
Experience with SQL & NoSQL databases
-
Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Git, Jenkins
-
Exposure to Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure is a plus)
-
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills
-
Experience in Banking / Financial Services domain is a plus
