Credentialing Assistant

Immediate need for a talented Credentialing Assistant. This is a 03+ Months Contract to Hire opportunity with long-term potential and is located in U.S(Remote-CST). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $19 - $20/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and assist the Credentialing function.
  • Responsible for maintaining the Credentialing inbox and appropriately responding promptly.
  • Monitor the queue and process for the credentialing and re-credentialing of various providers
  • Prepare files for credentialing documentation
  • Generate letters to providers following departmental workflows
  • Respond to internal and external customer inquiries regarding credentialing status
  • Provide multiple administrative supports to the Credentialing function
  • Ensure all credentialing files are prepared for Credentialing Committee meetings
  • Create cases in the provider system.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
  • Key Skills:Credentialing a Health Provider 
  • Knowledge of the CAQH System and Regulatory Mastery (HIPAA, NCQA, CMS, JCO)
  • Strong Proficiency with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets .
  • 2+ years of RECENT Credentialing Experience in a Medical/Healthcare/Managed Care setting. 
  • Knowledge of the CAQH System and Regulatory Mastery (HIPAA, NCQA, CMS, JCO)
  • Strong Organizational, Positive Attitude, Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Data Entry Typing 40 WPM; Ability to multitask with calls and emails, using multiple systems and programs simultaneously.
  • Due to HIPAA, a reliable home internet connection (a hard-wired internet connection) with a dedicated workspace is required.
