Pay Range: $65 - $68/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain DB2 database environments
• Perform database performance tuning, monitoring, and optimization
• Manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
• Ensure high availability and data integrity across DB2 systems
• Support database security, including access controls and compliance requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues, locks, deadlocks, and failures
• Work closely with application development teams to support deployments, SQL tuning, and database design improvements
• Implement and maintain DB2 utilities, including RUNSTATS, REORG, COPY, LOAD, and RECOVER
• Support change management, patching, and version upgrades
• Create and maintain database documentation and operational procedures
• Participate in on-call support rotation for production environments

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key skills: - DB2, z/OS, DBA
• Strong hands-on experience as a DB2 DBA in enterprise environments
• Experience with DB2 performance tuning and monitoring tools
• Proficiency in SQL, database design, and query optimization
• Experience with backup/recovery and disaster recovery planning
• Familiarity with DB2 utilities and maintenance processes
• Strong understanding of database security and compliance practices
• Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues in production environments
• Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
