L1 Network Monitoring/Troubleshooting Specialist
Immediate need for a talented L1 Network Monitoring/Troubleshooting Specialist. This is a 12+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Nashville, TN(Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $20 - $22/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and troubleshoot network performance issues, including CRC errors, SSP, error disable scenarios, and more.
- Perform advanced network triage and escalate issues as necessary.
- Create and manage tickets within Client, ensuring timely resolution of service requests.
- Raise tickets with circuit providers and hardware vendors to address network issues.
- Hands-on experience with network routing and switching, firewalls, load balancing (including F5 load balancers), and WiFi.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to switching and routing protocols, firewalls, and WiFi networks.
- Manage the alert lifecycle, ensuring all alerts are addressed promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to improve network performance and reliability.
- Provide guidance and support to L1 network monitoring staff.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Skills-Network, Router/Switches, Troubleshooting/Monitoring
- 3-5 years of experience in network troubleshooting and incident management.
- Proficiency in network routing and switching, firewalls, load balancing (F5), and WiFi.
- Experience with CRC errors, SSP, and Horizon link.
- Familiarity with incident management processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with Client or similar ticketing systems.
- Knowledge of switching and routing protocols.
- Ability to perform advanced network triage and troubleshooting.
- Experience with F5 load balancers, firewalls, and WiFi networks.
