Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, connectivity issues, and alerts.
- Manage and resolve tickets with vendors/internal teams, escalating as needed.
- Implement network configuration changes, upgrades, and preventative maintenance.
- Plan and drive remediation of vulnerabilities on network devices.
- Review and optimize NOC processes for efficiency.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technology communities.
- Utilize automation, security-first principles, and open-source solutions.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, demos, and onboarding.
- Support research and adoption of new technologies.
- Skills-Cisco Nexus, Cisco ACI, F5 LTM/GTM, DNS, DHCP.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
- 3+ years in Software Engineering, DevOps, or related roles.
- Internal applicants: Dreyfus engineering scale - competent rating.
- Strong experience with Cisco Nexus, OSPF, BGP, and network architectures.
- Knowledge of Spanning-Tree, VRRP, tunneling, ACI, QoS, and Datacenter tech.
- Experience with DNS, DHCP, NTP, F5 LTM/GTM, Citrix NetScaler.
- Familiarity with virtualized environments (Hypervisor, UCS, ESX).
- Ability to manage complex network projects independently.
- CCNP or CCIE Certification.
