HCBS Incident Investigator
Immediate need for a talented HCBS Incident Investigator. This is a 03+months contract to Hireopportunity with long-term potential and is located in Dayton OH (Remote). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $25 - $27/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Shift Time & Working Days: 8am – 5pm, Mon to Fri, OT dependent on business needs
- Review submitted incidents for appropriateness.
- Create incidents within Ohio’s Incident Management system, documenting in client’s EMR-TruCare.
- Calling regulatory, protective and law enforcement agencies as needed.
- Collaborating with care coordination teams, ODM’s contracted investigative entity and ODM’s care coordination team.
- This role involves collaboration with multiple disciplines and entities, working with care coordination, UM, ODM, regulatory, investigative and protective authorities.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Key Skills; Medicaid and MyCare, Master’s in SW or therapy
- Requires critical thinking skills and clinical nursing/BH knowledge.
- Requires investigative skills, teamwork and autonomy.
- Incorporates work with both Medicaid and MyCare teams while assisting our members in both plans.
- Must haves: OH license, knowledge of OH Medicaid and MyCare regulations and managed care contracts. 2 years clinical experience
- Nice to haves: behavioral health background; knowledge of Microsoft excel and outlook, OH incident reporting.
- Area of agency on aging, OH Managed Care
- Critical thinking, self-motivated, strong clinical background
- Must be independent, yet works well with a team
- Fast learner, computer savvy
- Education/Certification Required: Master’s in SW or therapy, but can have RN
