Pay Range: $60 - $70/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Work with product owners and business analysts to understand business and technical requirements.
• Define system requirements and technical designs for specific components within a release.
• Play an active hands-on role in design and development for Java-based REST services.
• Play an active hands-on role in design and development for either user interfaces (Angular or C#/.Net) or Scala/AKKA-based middle-tier services.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Data Services, and other Technology Teams.
• Coordinate and deploy product releases.
• Participate in on-call rotation for Level 3 production support for our applications.
• Develop, document, and communicate design artifacts within the team.
• Maintain trusted relationships with business partners.
• Be highly productive in an agile project delivery environment.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Skills-Java, Spring Boot, Angular 12 and above and Server-side OOP.
• A strong understanding of the software development lifecycle process, with a preference for Scrum / Agile.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a similar field.
• 10+ years of experience.
• You have strong technical and programming skills:
• Experience and knowledge of Java (server-side) object-oriented programming.
• Experience and knowledge of User Interface programming skills, such as Angular (12 and above), C#/.Net is a plus.
• Familiarity with functional programming skills (preferably Scala) is a plus.
• Knowledge of messaging frameworks such as Kafka, Tibco EMS, or JMS is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of SQL development.
• A fast learner and an excellent teammate.
• Ability to efficiently work on a small development team and lead in-depth technical designs.
• Self-motivated, guided, and focused on customer and results-oriented approaches.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to engage successfully with the technical team.
• Deliver time-to-market solutions, helping business partners use technology in an exploratory, highly iterative environment.
• Help investment teams evolve their processes to meet both short-term needs and long-term trends using technology.
