LAN Administrator

Pay Range: $30 - $33/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities: 

• Client is looking for a LAN administrator contractor.
• Under general supervision, this role provides support and maintenance of computer hardware and software. Troubleshoots PC and Local Area Network problems.
• Is responsible for working in multi-platform environments with multiple business areas.
• Will assist with end user support and answering support tickets.

 
Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Key skills; LAN, Network Protocols, Hardware
• Experience with mobile workforce and data communications.
• Technical knowledge and experience with computer hardware, software applications and operating systems
• Knowledge of LAN, WAN network protocols
• Ability to work on technically complicated systems with little supervision.
• Ability to analyze principles of computer and software systems to interpret and solve problems.
• Experience with Office365
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.
• Ability to lift or move up to thirty-five pounds.
• Ability to contribute to a positive work environment.
• Ability to be courteous to co-workers and customers, follow directions from supervisors and refrain from abusive or profane language.
• Ability to respond to multiple customer and employee/contractor requests or demands and manages workload by wisely prioritizing his or her tasks often and adjusting to the situation at hand.
• Associate degree, CompTIA A+ or MCSE Desktop Infrastructure certification or three or more years’ experience and/or combination preferred
