Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure proper project setup in Enterprise Planning & Controls software
- Analyze data, review logs, and generate reports using project control tools
- Develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
- Prepare and maintain schedules, cost reports, cash flow forecasts, and project tracking metrics
- Support engineering, procurement, and construction planning, scheduling, logistics, and cost control
- Act as a point of contact for technical queries from the project team
- Review and approve Purchase Orders and Subcontracts for correct coding
- Track and document changes to project costs and forecasts
- Collaborate with Project Management and Accounting teams for cost reviews and audits
- Review contract and subcontract change orders
- Develop and present cash flow and progress reports
- Create and manage project schedules, including logic ties and resource loading
- Support Interactive Project Planning Meetings (IPPM)
- Perform schedule analysis using critical path method (CPM) techniques
- Conduct “what-if” schedule scenarios and forecasting
- Maintain earned value management systems and progress tracking
- Perform material takeoffs and quality checks on deliverables
- Conduct field audits to validate reporting accuracy
- Assist with project forensic analysis as needed
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field required
(Relevant experience may substitute for degree requirement) - Minimum 3+ years of direct project controls experience
- Experience with Oracle Primavera P6 preferred
- Strong knowledge of scheduling, cost control, and project forecasting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with earned value management and CPM scheduling techniques
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or ability to obtain)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
