Pay Range: $65 - $68/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide DB2 for z/OS technical support and systems programming (non-DBA)
• Participate in design, development, and implementation of DB2 systems engineering initiatives
• Support and maintain DB2 z/OS Data Sharing environments
• Perform DB2 performance monitoring, tuning, and capacity planning
• Support DB2 disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution
• Maintain DB2 system software using SMP/E
• Establish and maintain system parameters, I/O processes, and hardware compatibility
• Coordinate subsystem design and integration across mainframe environments
• Act as a technical subject matter expert for DB2 z/OS platform operations
• Influence and guide technical activities related to special initiatives and operational improvements
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and security teams
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key skills: - SMP/E, DB2 for z/OS V13, DB2 for z/OS Data Sharing, DB2 for z/OS Performance and Tuning, DB2 for z/OS Disaster Recovery.

• DB2 for z/OS Performance and Tuning
• DB2 for z/OS Disaster Recovery
• 6–8 years of experience as a DB2 z/OS Systems Programmer
• Strong understanding of mainframe systems engineering and DB2 infrastructure
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
