Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for formulating and defining systems and objectives through research and an understanding of applicable business systems.
- Assures the effectiveness, accuracy and deployment of those systems. Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge.
- Looking for a candidate to be a functional Essbase admin and Anaplan model builder that’s part of a newly created Anaplan Center of Excellence for client.
- The ideal candidate who is a power user or has administrative responsibilities in Essbase or Anaplan as well as someone who’s comfortable supporting a large scale and fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to pick up new skills quickly and be able to juggle multiple asks simultaneously.
- Become a SME/Functional administrator in managing our core reporting and planning tools – Essbase, Anaplan & EDMCS
- Manage regular maintenance of these systems including data integrations/flows, variable/metadata maintenance
- Work towards an Anaplan model builder certification so that you can contribute to the newly created Anaplan COE
- Partner with the implementation teams and contribute on the various EPM roadmap projects
- Troubleshoot issues related to system automations/data flows – Anaplan and Essbase
- Contribute to EPM roadmap and project implementations
- Work with our user base to answer questions and provide training
- Propose changes to existing processes to make things more efficient for all stakeholders
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to be flexible with changing priorities
- Analyzes business and user needs, documenting requirements and revising existing system logics as necessary.
- Prepares detailed functional and technical specifications from which programs will be written.
- Conducts studies pertaining to development of new information systems to meet current and projected business needs.
- Supports in the preparation of project-phase plans, implementation schedules and cost benefit estimates.
- Supports in the monitoring of implementation progress for compliance with budget and time constraints.
- Ensures data quality and integrity across data specific application implementations.
- Functions as a liaison between the client, community and internal IT and/or external software vendors to develop system solutions to processing systems or business problems.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
