Pay Range: $70.00 - $73.00 /hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location). 

Key Responsibilities:

• The Citrix Middleware Engineer will lead end-to-end and administration duties for critical banking platforms, delivering middleware infrastructure for enterprise projects and regulatory initiatives.
• Ensures production stability, platform remediation, patching and upgrades, mitigating and managing risk.
• Middleware engineering and administration includes middleware installation, configuration, risk mitigation and remediation, performance tuning and troubleshooting/triage as L3 production support.
• Collaborates with customers (application teams and/or testing teams) on daily basis providing middleware advice, consultation, and support.
• Creates, maintains and supports the application deployment templates, serving as a Citrix administration architect and making recommendations on Citrix best practices in application development.
• Designing Middleware infrastructure and topology design for high availability and failover capability.
• All solutions must meet all Policy, Baseline, and Standards along with business requirements.
• Providing technical consultation to other team members and their supported areas; Communicating with business partners at an enterprise level; Interfacing with internal customers and external vendors for consultation at various points of the software development life cycle (SDLC); and executing production changes for integrated and regulatory releases with precision.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Key skills: - PowerCLI, F5 Gateway, Middleware
• Undergraduate degree in a related field, or equivalent combination of training and experience.

• 8+ years of experience working in virtualization and EUC related fields as an engineer.
• Management and support skills in a large corporate enterprise consisting of 100,000+ endpoints
• Experience with the architecture/design of Citrix environment with 40,000 concurrent users
• Experience operating, maintaining, optimizing, and expanding the virtual infrastructure to include virtual servers and virtual desktops using Citrix and VMware technology.
• Designing, Installing, configuring and maintaining a scalable and high availability virtual environment utilizing Citrix Hosted Virtual Desktop and Published Applications
• Thorough understanding of platform performance analysis, telemetry, and performance related troubleshooting
• Strong experience implementing best practices in an end user environment Citrix policy engine experience F5 Gateway APM function and configuration understanding.

• Understand how to use PowerCLI to manage virtual machines and virtual
• Infrastructure proven scripting ability is a strong asset
