Key Responsibilities:
- Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications/operating systems.
- Also, coordinates work teams.
- Provides technical leadership to project team members.
- Demonstrates expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of tasks.
- May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- May report to an executive or a manager.
- Technical lead for designing, developing, and integrating the TXD software that interfaces with the RF hardware.
- Provide support for the software that interfaces with the RF hardware on legacy TCAS products such as TPA-100 and AESU.

- Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and at least 8+ years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Must have spent 5+ years in embedded C++ development of one of the following systems:
- TCAS (Traffic Collision Avoidance System)
- ACAS (Airborne Collision Avoidance System)
- ADS-B (Automatic Dependent Surveillance – Broadcast)
- Extensive Transponder experience
- Real-Time Embedded Software Engineer (C/C++)
- ARINC 429 (A429)
- ARINC 735 (A735)
- ARINC 718 (A718)
- RTCA DO-178C
- Structured software development environment, Requirements, Code, Integration Test
- DOORS – Requirements development
