Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer
Immediate need for a talented Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer. This is a 06+months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Minneapolis, MN (On-site). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $50 - $60/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide test and manufacturing support for Ring Laser Gyro (RLG) and Tactical Guidance Products (TGP) production.
- Perform yield and performance data analysis to monitor process capability, product health trends and drive yield improvements.
- Utilize CAMP, Lean, and Six-Sigma methodologies to govern engineering standard work practices.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues, facilitate issue identification and analysis.
- Develop improvements in product design and in the manufacturing and assembly processes for cost and cycle time reductions.
- Assist development of new products.
- Support knowledge for test equipment and preventative maintenance plans to maintain factory capacity and efficient product flow.
- Facilitate a self-driven work force culture to achieve RTY, BIQ, COPQ, and other SQDIC goals.
- Test products & software
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Key Skills; Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
- 5+ years experience.
- Product or process engineering experience.
- Product assembly and test experience.
- Experience with optics, sensors, and/or electronic assemblies.
- Experience with product yield management and improvement.
- Experience with programming and troubleshooting equipment with PLC controllers.
- Experience in manufacturing of products for regulated industries (aerospace, medical, automotive).
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment.
- Ability to balance priorities in daily tasks and strategic projects.
- Hands on work ethic. Initiative and ownership of responsibilities and actions.
- Ability to partner and collaborate well with team members across functions.
- Quickly and accurately identifying subtle interrelationships and patterns among a variety of problems and issues (process and data correlation of cause/effect across value stream).
- Conveying information with clarity and directness, ensuring the message is understood across diverse teams.
