Mutual Funds Accountant

Pay Range: $31 - $32/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Reconcile daily between bank accounts.
• Reconciling is happening throughout the day between systems and databases.
• Comfortable with using excel formulas, macros that query.
• Familiarity with fixed income securities very helpful.
• Organized and detailed to run procedures that must be performed in sequential order.
• Will be responsible for fund work worth billions.
• Production works the candidate must be prepared to work after normal end of day until the work is done. The job is in Harrisburg, PA, work in-person for the first month or until fully operational to work independently. Typical hours are 8:30-5:30 with 1-hour lunch taken between 12-2:00.
• Candidate must be competent in reconciliation, comfortable user of excel, detailed, good with follow through, and many other facets that contribute towards effective and efficient results.
• Accountable, honest, and trustworthy to own when they’ve caused a mistake that might cause things to go wrong by their results.
• Seek as close to 100% accuracy in results and following directions.
• Our work is driven on format to be efficient and organized.
• Patient, inquisitive, troubleshooting are necessary attributes.
• Communication happens predominantly through email, Team jabs, in-person conversations.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Skills-Account & Bank Reconciliation, accounting, banking.
• During training: 5 days in office will be required until fully independent with workload, Parking: $110.00 monthly or there is public (Bus) transportation available.
