Support Lead- Oracle Retail Sales Audit

Pay Range: $60 to 75/hr. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location). 
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Production Support & Operations
  • Lead L2/L3 production support for Oracle Retail Sales Audit (ReSA) v25 
  • Monitor daily Sales processing including:
  • POS and Online transactions 
  • Audit rules execution
  • Totals balancing and custom outbounds
  • Error processing and reprocessing
  • Ensure daily store audit completion, identifying and resolving audit discrepancies and system errors.
  • Proactively identify recurring issues and drive root cause analysis (RCA) and permanent fixes.
  • Incident, Problem & Change Management
  • Act as the onsite incident Manager for high-priority (P1/P2) issues impacting Sales Audit processing.
  • Coordinate with downstream/upstream application teams
  • Lead problem management, including trend analysis and preventive measures.
  • Support change management, including patch deployments, configuration changes, and controlled releases.
  • Functional & Business Support
  • Serve as the functional SME for ReSA modules such as:
  • Audit Rules
  • Tolerances
  • Reason Codes
  • Totals and Balancing
  • Error Correction workflows
  • Support business users with:
  • Audit exception analysis
  • Store and finance reconciliation issues
  • Month-end and year-end close activities
  • Translate business issues into functional and technical requirements for resolution.
  • Cloud & Environment Management
  • Support Oracle Retail Cloud Service operations, including:
  • Environment health checks
  • Interface monitoring
  • Job scheduling and batch execution validation
  • Coordinate with Oracle Cloud teams for:
  • Patching
  • Performance tuning
  • Planned maintenance activities
  • Ensure adherence to Oracle Retail Cloud best practices and SLAs.
  • Team Leadership & Coordination
  • Lead and mentor offshore and nearshore support teams.
  • Review support deliverables including:
  • Daily operational reports
  • Incident logs
  • SLA/KPI dashboards
  • Ensure 24x7 support coverage through effective shift planning and handovers.
  • Act as the escalation point for unresolved issues.
  • Documentation & Compliance
  • Maintain and review:
  • Support runbooks
  • SOPs
  • Knowledge articles
  • Audit and compliance documentation
  • Ensure controls are in place for SOX, financial compliance, and retail audit standards.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

  • Key skills: Oracle Retail, production support, PL-sql.
  • 8+ years of experience in Oracle Retail applications.
  • 5+ years hands-on experience with Oracle Retail Sales Audit (ReSA).
  • Strong experience with Oracle Retail v25 Cloud Services.
  • Deep understanding of:
  • Retail POS transaction flows
  • Sales, returns, tenders, and taxes
  • Store and financial reconciliation
  • Working knowledge of:
  • RMS (Retail Merchandising)
  • SIM (Store Inventory)
  • Financials / GL integration
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) in a support context.
  • Oracle Retail REST services
  • SQL, Pl SQL and basic Python data analysis for troubleshooting
  • ServiceNow / JIRA / Remedy or similar ticketing tools
  • Batch scheduling and monitoring tools POM 
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a production retail environment.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and customer-focused mindset. 
  • Work Location & Shift
  • Onsite role at client location.
  • Willingness to support retail business hours, weekends, and critical periods (month-end, year-end, promotions).
  • SLA adherence and incident resolution timelines
  • Reduction in recurring audit issues
  • Stability of daily Sales Audit processing
  • Business user satisfaction
