Pay Range: $42/hour - $72/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Shift Leadership & Operations: Act as the Nurse Manager's designee on the evening shift. Support charge nurses and staff to ensure the effective running of the care delivery system.
• Assist with daily operations, staffing, and serve as a primary clinical and operational resource.
• Staff Development & Mentorship: Play a pivotal role in staff recruitment, mentoring, retention, and performance management.
• Coach and counsel staff, participate in performance reviews, and foster a healthy, safe, and desirable work environment that promotes growth.
• Quality & Clinical Excellence: Promote staff clinical competency and hold the team accountable to the highest professional and ethical standards.
• Support performance improvement projects, evidence-based practice, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Financial & Resource Stewardship: Assist with budget development and monitoring.
• Learn to apply lean principles to reduce waste and improve the performance of clinical systems and operations.
• Collaboration & Communication: Model teamwork and collaboration with physicians, staff, patients, and other departments.
• Effectively communicate with a diverse workforce and represent the organization positively.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Key Skills; Registered Nurse (RN), Assistant Nurse Manager, Medical-Surgical (MedSurg), Leadership, BLS
• Licensure: Current Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license or Multi-State Compact RN license.
• Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master's in Nursing (MSN) required.
• Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required upon hire. National certification in nursing administration (e.g., CNML) preferred upon hire.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of clinical nursing experience required. Experience in a Medical-Surgical or Acute Care setting is essential. Previous charge nurse, lead, or other informal leadership experience is strongly preferred.
• Skills: Excellent verbal/written communication and relationship-building skills. A demonstrated desire to coach, mentor, and develop others.
• Strong interest in learning business operations, healthcare finance, and using data to drive decisions.
• Must be a continuous learner with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
