Pay Range: $42 - $48/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with project managers, design engineers, environmental consultants, GIS mapping specialists, and real estate coordinators to prepare permit applications for railroad permitting to facilitate construction impacts related to transmission line and substation expansion projects.
• Complete and submit permit applications, and pursue application through timeframe until permit is issued or authorized.
• Obtain permitting authorizations for all crossings related to linear transmission line projects, including but not limited to: railroad crossings and turnpike crossings.
• Obtain entry and access permits.
• Support environmental permitting tasks if requested.
• Support fiber and communication permitting tasks if requested.
• Interact with construction contractors for electrical transmission lines, fiber, road building, foundations, geotechnical, survey, and restoration with respect to permitting needs and have an understanding of railroad permitting compliance.
• Support Client needs as directed and assist with document research.
• Provide assistance to client on electrical distribution projects.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Must have skills: Permitting, Real Estate, Project Coordination
• Bachelor’s degree in related environmental field from an accredited curriculum.
• A minimum of five years of experience with permitting Pennsylvania linear projects.
• Good verbal and written communication skills and Team player focused on Client service.
• Capable of working with diverse skill sets in fast paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, excellent Time Management Skills.
• Well-organized and able to simultaneously pursue and track multiple project permitting efforts.
