Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain Cerner HIM modules, including Chart Correction, Deficiency Management, and Document Quality Review.
- Collaborate with medical records, clinical, and IT teams to understand workflow needs and system enhancements.
- Troubleshoot HIM-related issues and provide timely resolution.
- Implement system upgrades, patches, and optimization projects.
- Develop documentation, training materials, and provide support to HIM staff.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, JCI, etc.) and organizational policies.
- Participate in go-lives, testing, and change control processes.
- Key Skills:HIM, Cerner .
- Strong hands-on experience with Cerner HIM solutions (Chart Correction, Deficiency Management, Release of Information).
- Familiarity with Cerner tools like PowerChart, Discern Rules, and CCL.
- Knowledge of clinical documentation workflows and regulatory compliance for health information.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
