Desktop Field Technician

Pay Range: $20 - $22/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Key Skills:Desktop Support; Reimaging; Deploying; Troubleshooting
• Develop a comprehensive inventory of Harbin’s end-user devices.
• Validate end-user device hardware and software for compliance with Advocate and Epic standards and requirements.
• Work with the install team to develop an implementation plan for replacing inadequate hardware and software, including the rollout of new devices and replacement of old ones including the replacement of 610 thin clients with PCs.
• Assist with the migration of the End user devices with the changing of the IPs.
• Provide hands-on support for reimaging workstation replacements including hardware distribution and support.
• Work with Houston IT staff to deploy new software packages using Houston’s software management System.
• Set up and break down workstations for training spaces and appointment conversion.
• Provide TDR support for Q3/2025 in preparation for Epic go-live.
• Provide on-site day-one support for 2 weeks following the Epic go-live.
• Provide technical support as issues arise with Hardware.
• Ability to provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Must be able to pass the background check, drug screen, and health screen checkups.
• Prior Epic/EMR or Healthcare experience is a bonus.
