Business Analyst
Immediate need for a talented Business Analyst . This is a 12 months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Jersey City, NJ(Hybrid). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $60 - $65/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, document, and analyze business requirements for OTC trading and post-trade operations.
 - Work closely with front office, middle office, and operations teams to understand trade lifecycle workflows and system dependencies.
 - Perform data analysis, validation, and reconciliation using SQL and other analytical tools.
 - Collaborate with technology teams to design and deliver data-driven solutions, reports, and dashboards.
 - Conduct impact analysis for system enhancements, regulatory changes, and process improvements.
 - Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing), test case preparation, and issue tracking.
 - Document business processes, data mappings, and functional specifications.
 - Liaise between business and IT teams to ensure clear communication and successful project delivery.
 
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Key Skills; "Jira", “SQL”, “OTC”
 - 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in capital markets or financial services domain.
 - Strong understanding of OTC trading products (e.g., Swaps, Options, Forwards, Derivatives) and related operational processes.
 - Hands-on experience with SQL for data querying, validation, and analysis.
 - Good understanding of data flows, data lineage, and reconciliation processes.
 - Proficiency in working with large datasets and interpreting financial data.
 - Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
 - Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams including business users, developers, and QA teams.
