Pay Range: $33 - $58/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Unit Oversight
• Direct and coordinate daily nursing operations for assigned shifts.
• Make patient assignments and ensure appropriate staffing based on patient needs.
• Lead and support team members through coaching, rounding, and peer accountability.
• Oversee patient flow, discharge planning, and clinical coordination across the unit.
• Maintain open communication with physicians and the leadership team.
• Patient Care Excellence
• Provide hands-on, evidence-based care and support safe, effective treatment delivery.
• Conduct daily patient rounds, ensuring quality outcomes and satisfaction.
• Serve as a clinical expert and role model for nursing best practices.
• Utilize critical thinking and strong communication skills to guide patient-centered decisions.
• Collaboration & Growth
• Mentor and precept nurses, new grads, and support staff to build a strong, confident team.
• Promote teamwork and a positive environment grounded in respect and collaboration.
• Participate in shared governance, process improvement, and evidence-based initiatives.
• Maintain readiness for surveys, audits, and safety compliance.
• Professional & Operational Leadership
• Support resource management, including equipment, supplies, and staffing.
• Partner with leadership on scheduling, bed flow, and staffing coordination.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and development of nursing personnel.
• Drive continuous improvement in patient care, safety, and team performance.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Key skills; BLS, experience as a Registered Nurse
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (Required)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Nursing (Preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of current nursing experience (Required)
• 2+ years as a relief charge nurse or with proven clinical leadership (Preferred)
• Licenses & Certifications:
• Active RN License (Georgia or Compact State) – Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Preferred (within 180 days of hire)
• Specialty Certification – Preferred
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to stay composed and decisive in fast-paced clinical situations.
• Proficient with electronic health records and basic computer applications.
