Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately posts all assigned manual and electronic payments to customer accounts.
- Daily research of check payments to determine corresponding customer account.
- Verify accuracy, research discrepancies, and reconcile payment errors.
- Resolves and reports issues in a timely and accurate manner.
- Reconciles payments daily.
- Works on special projects as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Must have skills: - Utility Billing, Payments/Collections & Energy/utility industry.
- This position requires excellent organizational, mathematical, and analytical skills to ensure payments are posted correctly into customer accounts.
- Candidate must demonstrate a positive demeanor, good verbal, and written communication skills. Candidate must have the ability to work independently without close supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
