Care Coordinator II

Pay Range: $16 - $17/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities: 

• Note; Location: Remote. Employee must reside near McAllen, San Antonio/Austin office. 
• Shift: Start: Monday- Friday 8am to 5pm CST
• Team is currently on mandatory Overtime of 5 hrs
• Review member file and make appropriate outreaches to coordinate member’s Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and Adaptive Aid (AA) items.
• Review member eligibility and identify appropriate payers and communicate with DME agencies and PCPs to obtain needed information for requested items.

 
Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Key skills; DME or Durable medical equipment’s or Member outreach
• 1 year of experience; thorough knowledge of customer service, experience in a managed care environment or healthcare field.
• Experience operating office equipment/computer
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• 1 year of experience in the following settings: customer service, managed care, and/or healthcare setting.
• Experience working with DME or healthcare setting.
• Experience working remotely.
