Pay Range: $33/hour - $59/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

•  Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) to deliver individualized, evidence-based perioperative care. Provide relationship-based, culturally competent care, keeping the patient’s goals central.

• Coordinate and document safe, quality patient care within the OR.
• Foster a respectful, inclusive clinical environment through superior interdisciplinary communication and participation in shared governance.
• Teamwork & Collaboration:•
• Complete all required competency assessments and education. Serve as a preceptor or mentor, modeling professional nursing practice to develop the future surgical workforce.
• Professional Development:•
• Promote and participate in performance improvement, nursing research, and value analysis. Uphold all organizational policies and accreditation standards (e.g., TJC Patient Safety Goals).Evidence-Based Practice & Research:•
• Proactively plan for patient care across the continuum. Participate in developing surgical protocols and procedures to achieve best-practice outcomes and ensure efficient use of resources.Resources and Support:•

• Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday (10:45 AM - 7:15 PM)

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Key Skills; Current RN license (Georgia or Compact State)
• Current BLS certification (required upon hire)
• Minimum 5 years of direct patient care nursing experience
• Proven experience in an Operating Room (OR) / Perioperative setting
• Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing is required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is strongly preferred.
• Licensure/Certification:
• Current RN License in the State of Georgia or a Multi-State Compact License.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required upon hire.
• Minimum 5 years of direct patient care nursing experience is required.
• Substantial experience in an Operating Room (Perioperative) setting is essential.
• Expertise in the nursing process and perioperative standards.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills within a high-stakes environment.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, and professional practice
