Pay Range: $55 - $80/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Review dental preauthorization requests
• Evaluate claims for clinical appropriateness and medical necessity
• Conduct appeals review and provide written determinations
• Interpret dental radiographs and documentation
• Apply clinical guidelines to ensure evidence-based decisions
• Collaborate with internal teams to support utilization management processes

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• DDS or DMD from an accredited institution
• Active, unrestricted Arizona Dental License
• Minimum 5+ years of clinical dentistry experience
• Must reside in Arizona
• Strong written documentation and analytical skills
• Active malpractice insurance
• Pediatric dentistry experience strongly preferred
• Experience with:- Nitrous oxide, Oral conscious sedation and General anesthesia
• Prior utilization review, dental claims, or insurance experience
• Experience in managed care (HMO/PPO environments)
