Human Resources Generalist

Pay Range: $24 - $28/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Policy Administration: Administer HR policies and procedures covering various functional areas.
  • Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and make recommendations based on HR data.
  • Employee Support: Handle daily employee inquiries regarding referrals, direct deposits, and citizenship updates.
  • Investigations and Training: Participate in investigations and support training and development initiatives.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with labor moves, pay adjustments, reporting, and processing paperwork related to medical leaves and workers' compensation.
  • Orientation and Engagement: Support orientation processes and engagement activities, including involvement in the Ind committee.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to boost morale and improve site culture.
  • Flexibility: Provide coverage for second and night shift operations as needed.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
  • Key Skills:Word, Excel, PowerPoint .
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in HR or a related area.
  • Fluency in Spanish is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and the ability to navigate various systems.
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and make recommendations based on HR data.
  • Strong customer service skills to handle employee inquiries and provide support.
  • Competence in processing paperwork, managing labor moves, pay adjustments, and reporting.
  • Experience in conducting investigations and supporting training and development initiatives.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours to cover different shifts.
  • Ability to handle complex issues related to medical leaves, workers' compensation, and employee relations.
