Data Analyst

Pay Range: $29-$39/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with operational team to translate business requests into data driven results and recommendations
• Develop complex SQL queries to extract and transform data from multiple data sources
• Identify trends, patterns, and insights from data sets to understand drivers of performance
• Perform validation of data results to ensure data accuracy and integrity
• Produce actionable results that communicate where to focus efforts to drive impact to the business

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in analysis, information science, data visualization, or other relevant quantitative field preferred
• Intermediate SQL knowledge familiar with aggregating, joins, timestamps, subqueries, data transformation
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to present complex data findings in clear, concise manner using Microsoft product suite
• Demonstrate initiative and self-direct work with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Must be performing satisfactorily in present position
• Previous experience with analytics preferred
• Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or R for data manipulation and analysis
• Experience with project management of operational programs - observing the current processes, evaluating performance, and identifying areas for improvement
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Science, Business/Management, Mathematics/Statistics, Economics or other relevant quantitative field
