Pay Range: $15 - $18.50/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain editorial features across various content channels (news, sports, finance, lifestyle, entertainment, TV, etc) and across media platforms (Web, mobile, TV).
• We need someone who can write snappy, interesting copy, and curate interesting content packages that include a mix of media types.
• While there are opportunities for long-form writing and blogging, this is not a full-time writing position.
• This editor will serve as a curator and creator of content, taking the content we already have from feeds and partners, and producing the most appealing packages possible.
• Very minimal programming. But its helpful to have the eye for the breaking news, but its more the live sports piece of it, where theyre going in and making sure that the respective teams are on it.
• Background or a passion for entertainment and TV, because they are programming TV, so they might be more likely to catch something wrong with something, having the wrong image, because theyve seen the show, or know about the show.
• This role can be a bit niche, where it's very more technical than it is creative

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Skills-Editing, Digital & content publishing, CMS.
• This will be somebody walking through the QA process.
• Biggest areas is content scheduling and publishing. Also someone with brand voice, internal style guides
• QA and triage is a massive part of this.
• Attention to Detail.
• Work independently
• CMS tools, Experience in digital content publishing, editorial operations, merchandising
• Tools like - Slack, Jira and Smartsheet
• An autonomous role where they need to work well independently, but also work well with others. A collection to live sports, live news, breaking news.
• Nice to Have: UX background - Worked in Adobe or Figma, uh, previously, and could make the image on the fly without having to call our UX team to create an image would be great, but not a must-have.
