Key Responsibilities:
- Work Shift: Day Shift (Full-time) – Requires flexibility for operational needs.
- Strategic Leadership & Operations: Provide executive leadership for the ICU's daily operations, strategic planning, and financial performance.
- Develop and manage the operational budget, using lean principles to improve systems and reduce waste.
- Talent Management & Culture: Serve as the unit's chief retention officer. Recruit, develop, and retain talented nursing staff.
- Foster a desirable, safe, and supportive work environment that promotes professional growth, shared governance, and low turnover.
- Clinical Excellence & Quality: Hold staff accountable for the highest standards of clinical care and patient safety.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory (TJC), accreditation, and licensure standards.
- Promote evidence-based practice and lead quality improvement initiatives.
- Resource Stewardship: Effectively manage human and material resources.
- Analyze financial and clinical data to make informed decisions that optimize patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Build strong, collaborative relationships with physicians, staff, patients, families, and other departments.
- Employ effective communication, mediation, and relationship-building skills to achieve unit and organizational goals.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Key Skills; Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Manager, Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Leadership, BLS, Financial/Budget Management
- Licensure: Current Georgia Registered Nurse (RN) license or Multi-State Compact RN license (eNLC).
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. Master's in Nursing (MSN) or related field strongly preferred.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) from the American Heart Association required upon hire.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in nursing management/leadership is required.
- Previous experience in an ICU/Critical Care setting in a leadership capacity (e.g., Assistant Manager, Clinical Coordinator, Charge Nurse) is strongly preferred.
- Skills: Proven leadership skills in change management, coaching, and inspiring teams.
- Strong business and financial acumen, including budget management.
- Excellent verbal/written communication and relationship-building skills.
- Must be proficient in using data and technology to drive decisions and improve outcomes.
