• Cyber Hygiene Strategy & Implementation: Lead the development and execution of cybersecurity hygiene processes, policies, and procedures across the organization.
• This includes secure configuration management, patching, vulnerability management, and end-to-end risk mitigation.
• Security Architecture & Design: Partner with engineering teams to design and implement secure infrastructure, ensuring all components adhere to best practices in cybersecurity hygiene.
• Vulnerability Management: Oversee the vulnerability management lifecycle, from identification and remediation to reporting.
• Ensure timely and effective patching of critical vulnerabilities across systems and platforms.
• Compliance & Auditing: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies related to cybersecurity hygiene.
• Conduct regular audits to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
• Training & Awareness: Advocate for and educate teams across the bank on cyber hygiene best practices to foster a strong security culture.
• Lead training sessions and provide resources to ensure teams are equipped with the knowledge needed to maintain secure systems.
• Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to continually assess and refine the cyber hygiene posture, implementing lessons learned and staying up to date with emerging threats and best practices.
• Metrics & Reporting: Develop and deliver detailed reports on the status of cyber hygiene initiatives, risk levels, and compliance with organizational standards, contributing to management-level decision-making.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Key Skills; Cyber Hygiene
• Vulnerability scanning & patch management
• System hardening
• Proven experience (5+ years) in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on cybersecurity hygiene, vulnerability management, and configuration management.
• In-depth knowledge of network security, system security, and vulnerability management frameworks.
• Strong experience with tools and platforms for patch management, vulnerability scanning, and remediation (e.g., Tanium, Tenable, Prisma, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with cloud security (Azure, GCP) and on-premises security controls.
• Expertise in system hardening, secure configuration management, and automation.
