Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze, prepare, review, and interpret land and Right of Way agreements, deeds, easements, leases, permits, and licenses.
- Research and collect real property-related project documents.
- Translate data from Right of Way documents into the stakeholder management database.
- Perform quality assurance reviews of stakeholder management database entries completed by Right of Way field agents.
- Present technical data to the Right of Way project team.
- Prepare and submit permit applications for project teams.
- Prepare project status reports, technical reports, and acquisition reports for project teams and client management.
- Manage document preparation and control, meeting agendas, and other project-related administrative activities.
- Assist with subcontractor management, including reviewing contracts, invoices, and change orders.
- Support and participate in public involvement meetings.
- Perform project planning, budgeting, and scheduling activities while establishing critical project objectives within defined parameters.
- Ensure compliance with company and site safety policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all company policies and standards.
- Must Have Skills: -Minimum 4 years of experience in Right of Way acquisition, title research, surveys, appraisals, land acquisition, negotiations, permitting activities, and construction coordination.
- Experience reviewing and interpreting property documents, supporting permitting processes and stakeholder database management, coordinating with project teams, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Industry experience within Energy Infrastructure, Transmission & Distribution, Electric Utilities, Construction & Engineering Services, or related sectors.
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related field. and 4 years Right of Way acquisition, relocation, and eminent domain experience, project management and/or real estate experience preferred. Required OR Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
- Ability to read and understand title and appraisal reports and land surveys.
- Demonstrated knowledge of general real estate law, understanding of real estate title work and ability to work as an effective team member.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated presentation skills, attention to detail, ability to work independently and ability to multi-task.
- Experience with database system management and proficiency in the use of computer software (i.e. Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Must meet standards to qualify for and maintain the Company's vehicle driving privileges as outlined in the Company's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy.
- Valid driver's license Required.
- SR/WA designation Preferred OR Other certification from the International Right of Way Association (IRWA) Preferred OR Real Estate Broker Preferred OR Sales License.
