Senior Automation Engineer

Pay Range: $60 - $65/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• The Senior Automation Engineer will serve as the designated QA for a development squad focused on money movement features within a financial platform.
• The role involves maintaining and enhancing an existing automation framework while collaborating closely with the Automation Lead.
• The ideal candidate will be proactive, communicative, and able to take ownership of their work rather than waiting for direction.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

• Key Skills; API and UI automation skills – Karate or Rest Assured, Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, Maven, Gradle, Wire mock
• Proficient in Java or equivalent software languages
• Familiar with: Spring/Spring Boot, RESTful services
• Basic SQL querying Experience
• Experience with AWS
• Proven experience in API and UI automation using tools such as Karate, Rest Assured, Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, Maven, Gradle, and Wire mock.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub for version control and collaboration.
• Strong proficiency in Java or an equivalent programming language.
• Familiarity with Spring/Spring Boot and RESTful services.
• Basic understanding of SQL querying.
• Experience working with AWS.
• Knowledge of code coverage tools such as SonarQube or SeaLights.
• Exposure to GenAI developer assistance tools such as GitHub Copilot or Gemini Code Assist.
• Prior experience in the financial services domain.
