Pay Range: $19.50 - $20/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Shift: Standard schedule of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. No overtime required.
- Maintain spreadsheets and collect, track, prepare, compile, and distribute statistical data for daily and monthly reports.
- Maintain and report on the Health Plan(s) compliance with contract submission rules and exception requests and communicate to Manager monthly.
- Support the contract submission process to ensure confirmation with corporate standards by the Health Plan(s), provide support to the Contract Case Conferences and ensure that appropriate internal controls are established to account for and secure hardcopy or scanned images of contracts.
- Maintain and update on a routine basis the contract organization’s database.
- Produce reports, as requested.
- Coordinate the Corporate-wide data verification process for contracted providers.
- Update the contract organization’s databases, as necessary.
- Interface with the credentialing staff to ensure all Health Plan data systems are congruent.
- Provider Outreach: Conduct outreach to practitioners’ offices to verify practice locations and services, resolving any gaps in provider records.
- Ticket Management: Submit and track provider update tickets to ensure timely and accurate resolution.
- Goal Tracking: Work toward meeting or exceeding daily productivity and accuracy goals.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Key skills; Detail oriented, communication, Healthcare experience
- Nice to have: Call center
- Must have 2years of experience in Provider Contracts
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of experience, preferably in the healthcare or insurance industry, including experience managing large databases and experience with provider information systems.
- Auditing experience is preferred.
